The first consultation is always free. If you hire me to assist you during the birth, you will receive the following:
• Two prenatal visits to discuss and prepare your birth plan, and to familiarize you with the various comfort measures and distraction techniques I provide during labor.
• 24 hour telephone support during your pregnancy and the first few weeks postpartum. Please feel free to call with any questions you may have.
• Doula support for the entire length of your labor, no matter how long or short it is. I will join you when you feel you need support, whether you are laboring at home or at the hospital.
• Support after birth for the first hour or two, to assist with breastfeeding and recovery.
• Photos taken before, during, and after the birth, if desired.
• A visit in the early postpartum weeks to discuss the birth, address any baby-care concerns, go over your baby's birth, gather feedback and admire your work!
